Bradford Council no longer provides Pest Control. Premier Pest Control can help you instead – we are members of these trade bodies.

Bradford Council will no longer be providing a Pest Control service to organisations and domestic customers from March 2018.  Their website now states:

Bradford council does not provide a pest control service and is not required to do so. You are responsible for keeping your land and buildings free from vermin. If your property has an infestation, you should contact a pest control expert who will be able to advise and offer practical help. The Council does not recommend any service. This may cause big problems for organisations who rely on Bradford Council for Pest Control. Also for people just needing to stop a nasty infestation of mice or rats or wasps in their house.

Bradford Council recommends that you contact a Pest Control expert to help with your problems. But how do you know who to trust?

First, choose a company who is registered with professional Pest Control organisations. The main one is the British Pest Control Association.  Others include PROMPT (the Professional Pest Controllers Register), CHAS (Construction Health & Safety Inspection Scheme), Constructionline, BRC and Wildlife Aware.  Also, our staff at Premier Pest Control have all been checked by the Disclosure and Barring Service. This means that our staff are reputable too! These are all signs that a Pest Control company works to high standards.

Second, choose a company who are local to Bradford. You need someone who knows the area and can come out to you quickly. You don’t want to wait ages if you have found a mouse in your house! We offer a 24-hour callout service to solve problems quickly for you.  You will also be supporting a local, family owned business instead of an impersonal big business. We don’t like call centres and we know you don’t. We have friendly people on the other end of the phone, who you can discuss your problems with.

Third, you need a company who are experienced in dealing with your type of problem.  This could be things like mice, rats, wasps or birds.  Premier Pest Control can help you, as we are the largest and longest established Pest Control company in the Bradford area. We do a lot of work for Bradford Council. We are experienced in working with schools, community centres, civic buildings, housing associations, care homes and food processing factories.
